What services do you offer?
I can help you with almost anything web-related, from simple landing pages to complex web applications. I also make mobile apps using React Native. If you know exactly what you want, I’ll do that. Otherwise, I can help develop your idea and plan your project. I can work on my own, or, if you have a team that needs dev support, I’m happy to join and help.
What will the quality of the end product be like?
It will be accessible, secure, performant, will follow good SEO and UX guidelines, and will look and work great on all devices and browsers. I write maintainable code that doesn’t have to be rewritten when you decide to add features, and readable code that others will know how to work with.
How much will it cost?
Building a custom website typically starts at $2,000. More complex web/mobile apps tend to be closer to $10,000. We can agree on fixed-price milestones or track hours, or, in the case of maintenance, agree on a monthly retainer. If I see an opportunity to save you money (by simplifying a project phase or in some other way), I will tell you.
What’s the process of working together like?
First, we can meet on a call or somewhere in NYC to discuss the project. Then, I’ll send an estimate of how much I think it will cost and how long I think it will take. Typically, I can start right away and progress is fast. We can meet as much as you like to discuss how it’s going. I can share a password-protected preview link so you can track the progress. If you want to manage the hosting and source code, we’ll keep everything on your accounts. Otherwise, I can host it for you. I’ll remain available after the project for any updates you may need.
How available are you to make updates after the project is finished?
I’ll always be available, and I typically complete minor updates within 48 hours.
Which technologies do you use?
I’ve worked with most of the popular front-end tools over the years, but lately I default to React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. For back-end services, Google Cloud Platform typically has what we need. If we need a CMS to make content editing easier for you or your team, we can choose one that suits the project. For mobile apps, I use React Native.
